Subscriptions

Display selling plans actually attached to the product through the Purchase frequency block.

Create and assign a selling plan

The theme displays product selling plans; it does not create contracts, frequencies, or recurring charges.

1. 01

   Install and configure a Shopify-compatible subscription app, such as Shopify Subscriptions.

   In Apps → Subscriptions → Plans, click Add plan.

   Enter the title, internal description, delivery frequency, and optional discount.

   Add more frequencies when customers should have a choice.

   Select the relevant products and save.

   Alternatively, open a product and use Add subscription under Purchase options to assign an existing plan.

   Choose whether one-time purchase remains available or the product is subscription-only.

   Review and complete the purchase-options cancellation policy in Shopify policies.

Display frequencies on the product page

1. 01

   Open the product template in the theme editor.

2. 02

   In Main product, add the Purchase frequency / selling_plan block.

3. 03

   Customize its label and one-time purchase copy.

4. 04

   Save and preview a product with at least one plan actually assigned.

What the selling_plan block does

  It reads product.selling_plan_groups and displays available groups and plans.

• ✓

  The selected value is sent to Shopify through the product form selling_plan field.

• ✓

  When no plan is attached, the selector is absent from the storefront.

• ✓

  Pricing, recurrence, contracts, and payments remain managed by Shopify and the app.

   Test every frequency and variant.

   Verify pricing in cart and checkout.

   Verify subscription policy and customer-account management.
